These Terms and Conditions apply to counselling and therapeutic services provided by Angelica Geroldi (legally known as Angelica Dowler), a qualified Social Worker providing counselling services in Australia. By engaging in counselling services, you agree to the following terms.
1. Nature of counselling services
Counselling is a collaborative and supportive process intended to assist individuals in exploring thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and life experiences. Counselling is not a substitute for medical, psychiatric, or emergency care.
Angelica does not provide medical diagnoses, prescribe medication, or offer crisis or emergency services.
2. Scope of Practice
Counselling services are provided within the professional scope of social work practice and in accordance with ethical and legal obligations. Services may include short- or medium-term counselling, psychosocial support, and therapeutic conversations.
2.1 Scope of Practice: Psychedelic Integration Counselling
Specialist services, including psychedelic integration counselling, are offered as non-directive, supportive counselling focused on reflection, meaning-making, and emotional processing following significant or non-ordinary experiences.
These services do not involve, and Angelica does not provide, facilitate, encourage, endorse, or advise on the use, sourcing, dosage, or administration of any illegal substances. All support is strictly limited to post-experience integration and therapeutic care.
3. Appointments and booking
Appointments are scheduled by mutual agreement. Session length, frequency, and format (in-person or online) will be discussed and agreed upon prior to commencement.
In-person sessions are available by request and subject to clinical suitability and availability.
4. Fees and payment
Fees for counselling sessions will be communicated prior to booking. Payment is required at or before the time of the session unless otherwise agreed.
Missed or late-cancelled appointments may be charged in accordance with the cancellation policy outlined below.
5. Cancellation policy
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for appointment cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or non-attendance, may incur the full session fee.
Exceptions may be considered in exceptional circumstances at the practitioner’s discretion.
6. Confidentiality and privacy
All counselling sessions are confidential and handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy and relevant legal and ethical obligations.
Limits to confidentiality include circumstances where there is a serious risk of harm to the client or others, or where disclosure is required by law.
7. Client responsibilities
Clients are encouraged to:

Communicate any concerns or changes that may affect counselling

Take responsibility for decisions and actions outside of sessions
Counselling outcomes vary, and no specific results can be guaranteed.
8. Crisis and emergency situations
Counselling services do not provide crisis or emergency support.

9. Complaints and concerns
If you have concerns about the counselling services provided, you are encouraged to raise these directly so they can be addressed where possible.
Professional conduct is governed by the ethical standards of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
10. Changes to terms
These Terms and Conditions may be updated from time to time. The most current version will be available on this website.
By booking or attending counselling sessions, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
